Do Not Walk on PV Array Label

This warning label instructs personnel not to walk on photovoltaic modules or the PV array. It is intended for rooftop and accessible solar installations where foot traffic could damage modules, mounting components or create a risk to personnel.

Typical applications

Suitable for commercial rooftops, residential solar installations, solar farms, maintenance access points and roof hatches leading to areas containing PV arrays.

Protect the solar installation

PV modules are not designed to act as walking surfaces. Stepping on modules can cause visible or hidden damage, including cracked cells, damaged frames or compromised seals. A clear warning helps maintenance personnel identify areas that should not be used as access paths.

Use with access planning

The label should complement appropriate walkways, exclusion zones and site procedures. Position it where personnel are likely to enter or approach the PV array.
