Solar String 1 to 25 Labels
These numbered String labels identify individual photovoltaic strings from String 1 through String 25. They are designed for multi-string solar installations where consistent circuit identification is important for commissioning, maintenance and fault finding.
What is a PV string?
A photovoltaic string is a group of solar modules electrically connected as part of the array. Larger systems can contain many separate strings feeding inverter inputs, combiner equipment or DC distribution points.
25 selectable identifiers
Choose from String 1 to String 25 to match the numbering used in the installation. Applying the same identifier at relevant cable, isolator, junction and inverter locations makes it easier to trace a specific circuit through the system.
Coordinate with array and MPPT numbering
String numbers should correspond with the electrical drawings and any array or MPPT designations. Avoid creating a numbering scheme at the label stage that conflicts with the commissioned system.
