This warning label directs electricians, service technicians and authorised personnel to follow the documented shutdown procedure for the inverter energy system (IES) before carrying out isolation, maintenance or service work. It provides a clear reminder that inverter-based installations can contain multiple sources of energy and should not be treated like a simple single-supply circuit.

For inverter and battery energy systems

Suitable for solar PV, battery energy storage, hybrid inverter, backup-power and other IES installations where a defined shutdown sequence forms part of the operating documentation. The label can be positioned at switchboards, inverter equipment or other relevant access points where personnel are likely to begin isolation.

Why the shutdown procedure matters

An IES can remain energised from PV, battery storage, grid supply or another connected source even after one isolator has been operated. Following the complete documented sequence helps personnel identify all required isolation steps rather than relying on a single switch.

Use with installation-specific instructions

At Sign Portal, we understand that sometimes issues may arise with your custom signage orders. As our products are tailored specifically to your requirements, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect orders. However, if your item is found to be faulty or was supplied incorrectly, we are happy to accept returns within 30 days of receipt.

To be eligible for a return, your item must remain unused and in the same condition as when it was delivered. The item should also be in its original packaging.

Please include a receipt or proof of purchase when initiating the return.

Proofing Approval

Prior to production, we provide a digital proof of your design for approval. Once you approve the proof and confirm that the design is correct, we move forward with manufacturing. It is your responsibility to carefully review the proof and ensure all details are accurate, including text, colors, and dimensions. After approval, we cannot be held liable for any mistakes or changes, and refunds will not be issued based on customer errors in the proofing process.

Conditions for Partial Refunds (if applicable)

Refunds or exchanges will not be issued in the following circumstances:

The item is no longer in its original condition, has been damaged, or is missing parts due to reasons not caused by us.
Returns made more than 30 days after the item has been delivered.
