This warning label identifies premises where electricity is generated on-site rather than supplied only from the electricity network. It alerts electricians, service technicians and emergency personnel that an additional source of electrical energy can be present within the installation.

For solar, generator and inverter systems

Suitable for properties incorporating photovoltaic generation, generators, battery-inverter equipment or other local generation systems. It can be positioned at a relevant switchboard or electrical access point where personnel need to be made aware of the generation source.

On-site generation changes isolation assumptions

Removing or losing the normal mains supply does not necessarily de-energise all circuits when local generation is present. Depending on the design, generation equipment can continue supplying selected circuits or remain energised internally.

Use with source-specific identification

The generation source, associated main switch and relevant isolators should be clearly identified in a way that corresponds with the electrical drawings and shutdown procedure. This warning provides general generation-system awareness rather than a complete isolation instruction.

At Sign Portal, we understand that sometimes issues may arise with your custom signage orders. As our products are tailored specifically to your requirements, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect orders. However, if your item is found to be faulty or was supplied incorrectly, we are happy to accept returns within 30 days of receipt.

To be eligible for a return, your item must remain unused and in the same condition as when it was delivered. The item should also be in its original packaging.

Please include a receipt or proof of purchase when initiating the return.

Proofing Approval

Prior to production, we provide a digital proof of your design for approval. Once you approve the proof and confirm that the design is correct, we move forward with manufacturing. It is your responsibility to carefully review the proof and ensure all details are accurate, including text, colors, and dimensions. After approval, we cannot be held liable for any mistakes or changes, and refunds will not be issued based on customer errors in the proofing process.

Conditions for Partial Refunds (if applicable)

Refunds or exchanges will not be issued in the following circumstances:

The item is no longer in its original condition, has been damaged, or is missing parts due to reasons not caused by us.
Returns made more than 30 days after the item has been delivered.
