Warning Uninterruptible Power Supply System Label

This warning label identifies an installation incorporating an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). It alerts electricians, technicians and other personnel that connected equipment may remain energised from stored battery energy even when the normal mains supply has been disconnected.

UPS and critical-power applications

Suitable for switchboards, server and communications rooms, control systems, medical or industrial equipment areas and other installations where a UPS provides temporary or continuous backup power.

Power can remain present after mains isolation

A UPS is specifically designed to maintain supply when the normal source is interrupted. As a result, turning off an upstream mains switch does not necessarily de-energise the UPS output, internal batteries or connected critical circuits.

Follow the UPS isolation procedure

The correct shutdown sequence depends on the UPS design, bypass arrangement, battery configuration and connected equipment. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and site-specific electrical procedure before service work or access.

At Sign Portal, we understand that sometimes issues may arise with your custom signage orders. As our products are tailored specifically to your requirements, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect orders. However, if your item is found to be faulty or was supplied incorrectly, we are happy to accept returns within 30 days of receipt.

To be eligible for a return, your item must remain unused and in the same condition as when it was delivered. The item should also be in its original packaging.

Please include a receipt or proof of purchase when initiating the return.

Proofing Approval

Prior to production, we provide a digital proof of your design for approval. Once you approve the proof and confirm that the design is correct, we move forward with manufacturing. It is your responsibility to carefully review the proof and ensure all details are accurate, including text, colors, and dimensions. After approval, we cannot be held liable for any mistakes or changes, and refunds will not be issued based on customer errors in the proofing process.

Conditions for Partial Refunds (if applicable)

Refunds or exchanges will not be issued in the following circumstances:

The item is no longer in its original condition, has been damaged, or is missing parts due to reasons not caused by us.
Returns made more than 30 days after the item has been delivered.
