Battery Labels

Battery labels identify battery banks, AC and DC isolators, circuit breakers, battery chemistry, energy-storage systems and related solar equipment. They are designed for the points where installers, electricians, maintenance teams and emergency responders need to understand what the equipment is and how it is connected.

Use the exact equipment and chemistry details

Select labels that match the installed battery system, including the isolator or breaker type, chemistry and circuit designation where applicable. Stock products cover common battery and solar-storage messages; for a different system name, supply reference, size or layout, use Custom Electrical and Warning Labels.

Manufactured for site-specific identification

Every installation is different. Give the team the wording, dimensions, preferred material and any logo or fixing requirement and they can prepare custom artwork for approval before manufacture. Keep each label close to the equipment it identifies and make sure its size remains readable during inspection and operation.

Electrical and battery-storage labelling must reflect the actual installation. Check the designer’s documentation, equipment instructions and current applicable requirements—including AS/NZS 5139 and AS/NZS 5033 where relevant—before placing labels.

Can stock battery labels be used on every battery system?

No. Use stock labels only when their wording matches the installed equipment. Order custom labels when a system has different terminology, circuit names, chemistry details or layout.
