Do your reflective safety signs comply with Australian Standards?

Why can I see lines on some reflective signs?

Engineering Grade (Class 100) reflective material has a smooth appearance with no visible prism pattern. This is a normal characteristic of the material and contributes to its increased reflectivity.

Which reflective grade should I choose?

Class 100 is suitable for general commercial and private property signage where good night-time visibility is required. Class 400 (or 400T) provides significantly higher reflectivity and is commonly used for public road signage and traffic management. Class 1100 offers the highest level of retroreflectivity for critical road safety applications including highways, intersections and high-speed environments.

The Fragile Stencil is a reusable marking template for applying clear FRAGILE wording to crates, packaging, storage locations, handling zones and other suitable surfaces. It helps communicate that an item or area requires careful handling without relying on disposable labels for every application.

Typical applications

Useful for reusable transport cases, timber crates, warehouse storage zones, equipment packaging, exhibition freight, machinery covers and other items that are repeatedly packed or moved. It can also be used to identify dedicated storage areas for delicate products.

Stencil format

The 600 x 600mm stencil is available in reusable polypropylene and PETG variants. Material choice can be based on the surface shape, desired flexibility and how frequently the stencil will be used.

Application guidance

Choose a coating suitable for the substrate, particularly when marking timber, metal, plastic or painted surfaces. Keep the stencil flat, use controlled light passes and test the paint on an inconspicuous area where compatibility is uncertain.

Handling communication

FRAGILE is a general handling instruction. For equipment requiring a specific orientation, lifting method, moisture protection or shock limit, supplement the marking with appropriate handling symbols and instructions so transport and warehouse personnel understand the actual requirement.

At Sign Portal, we understand that sometimes issues may arise with your custom signage orders. As our products are tailored specifically to your requirements, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect orders. However, if your item is found to be faulty or was supplied incorrectly, we are happy to accept returns within 30 days of receipt.

To be eligible for a return, your item must remain unused and in the same condition as when it was delivered. The item should also be in its original packaging.

Please include a receipt or proof of purchase when initiating the return.

Proofing Approval

Prior to production, we provide a digital proof of your design for approval. Once you approve the proof and confirm that the design is correct, we move forward with manufacturing. It is your responsibility to carefully review the proof and ensure all details are accurate, including text, colors, and dimensions. After approval, we cannot be held liable for any mistakes or changes, and refunds will not be issued based on customer errors in the proofing process.

Conditions for Partial Refunds (if applicable)

Refunds or exchanges will not be issued in the following circumstances:

The item is no longer in its original condition, has been damaged, or is missing parts due to reasons not caused by us.
Returns made more than 30 days after the item has been delivered.
