Warning Generator Starts Automatically – Yellow

This yellow Warning Generator Starts Automatically label provides high-visibility identification for generators that may start without manual operation. It alerts users, electricians and maintenance personnel to the presence of automatic or remote starting controls before they approach or work on the equipment.

High-visibility generator warning

Suitable for standby generators, automatic transfer systems, generator enclosures, plant rooms and control panels. The yellow warning format is useful where the automatic-start hazard needs to stand out among other equipment labels.

Why automatic start identification is important

Generators can be programmed to start in response to mains failure, testing schedules, remote commands or control-system conditions. A machine that is stopped can therefore still be capable of starting unexpectedly.

Follow the complete isolation process

Maintenance personnel should follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions and the site's shutdown procedure to disable the generator's starting capability before service work. The label is a hazard warning and should not be treated as a complete lockout or isolation instruction.

Sign Portal manufactures generator, electrical and warning labels in-house in Australia.
