Tools: Neutral detergent and auto-scrubber or mop, lint-free cloths, 70%+ IPA, plastic squeegee with felt edge, hard J-roller, measuring tape, chalk line, masking tape, heat gun (for cold days), edge sealer (wet-cleaned areas), utility knife.

  1. Plan the layout: Dry-fit pieces to confirm spacing, alignment and orientation for approach traffic.
  2. Clean thoroughly: Degrease, rinse and dry the floor. Mechanically remove loose paint or laitance. Vacuum dust.
  3. Test adhesion: Apply a small test piece on the worst area. Check bond after 1–3 days.
  4. Apply graphics: Peel backing gradually, squeegee from centre out to avoid bubbles. Maintain firm, overlapping strokes.
  5. Post-roll: Use a hard roller to activate adhesive, especially at edges and corners.
